Where do you go, when you want to know?
I trek upstream, wind frets, whistling below
A sheet of opal blues billow in silk across the sky,
Time wrinkles and loops, spotted on the head of a die
hills sprinkle lavender and sap, shadows afloat.
A staircase of vines crystallise and glow
As silence surmounts, envelopes, flows.
To know and be known in the clearing of a cry—
Where do you go?
Shivering I whisper, a mouth of flowers grown
As incantations slink and feverishly slow
petals, finding their rest on the lash of an eye.
Instructions for freedom– where do they lie?
At the summit there is depth, motion contends in a still hum that knows
When one wants and asks, this is where they go.
