Shafts of melody glisten within the future

The faces of hope yield to steadfastness

Dusted shutters glaze over the past–

How does this go, slow or fast?

Time is wrapped around my tongue

A sequence of frames on a linear carousel

A decaying practice, is it not?

Remnants of the dead, brushing past thorns of matter

Emptiness did not see me–

It first called my name, my names dissolved.

All boats are empty, it said.
