Original 22x30. Mixed media painting on heavyweight, cold pressed cotton-rag paper, frame included, available as a print on enhanced poster matter paper, preserving vibrancy in colour saturation, and the crisp fine details of this piece.

Inspired by some of the theosophical and occult  influences on pioneer abstract artists of the 20th century, artists like Kandinsky, Jan Toorop, and even Piet Mondrian began to learn of the concept of formlessness and form, as well as the Buddhist seven planes of existence and tantrism. In Europe and Russia these artists began to express Eastern concepts, alongside with emerging scientific evidence, which posited that the physical planes too were expressions of the spiritual and transcendental, using abstract forms to express inner vision, the vibration of colour and the spectrum of emotions. Abstract line elements and shapes in Wassily Kandinsky and Kazimir Malevich inspired this piece, which is a bursting forward of the sublime. Fix yourself upon the movement of the dancers, frozen against the backdrop of blue mist and a glowing wheel of prophecy and constellations.
